Natalija Bogdanović

Natalija Bogdanović (Kragujevac, 1988) completed bachelor and master academic studies at the Faculty of Architecture, University of Belgrade.

Since 2014, she has been working at the Faculty of Philology and Arts of the University of Kragujevac as an teaching assistant at the Department of Interior Architecture. She was elected to the position of assistant professor in 2017 at the same faculty.

She organized and participated in several national and international exhibitions, competitions, workshops, conferences and panel discussions. As a member of the author’s team of the National Student Section, she participated in the Prague Quadrennial 2015, where Serbian artists were awarded the “Gold Medal for Establishing Dialogue”. She is a member of the curatorial team of the student section of the national presentation of Serbia at the Prague Quadriennial in 2023.

Since 2017, she is the founder and president of the professional association “URBANIUM – Center for Research and Sustainable Development of Architecture and Urbanism” and director of the “Days of Architecture in Kragujevac” project. She deals with designing in the fields of architecture and interior design, as well as different formats of artistic projects. Together with architect Aleksa Đurić, she is founder of the architectural practice of “ADDICTED design studio”.

At the same time, she is engaged in scientific and research work. Areas of interest: Interiority as a concept of breaking disciplinary boundaries between interior, architecture and urbanism; Architecture as an expanded field of action, Modernist architecture of Yugoslavia, memorial architecture, spectacle spaces, concept of art synthesis, pedagogical practices in public spaces.
