Faculty of Media and Communications
Faculty of Media and Communications (FMC), Singidunum University bases its work on the principles of
integrating theoretical knowledge and current practice, promoting culture of dialogue, exchange of
ideas and encouraging creative expression.
Going through certain transformations since its establishment in 2008, today FMC enables students to
acquire knowledge in the fields of media and communications, digital arts, psychology, social work,
politics and humanities. Course curricula are designed to be a combination of well-established
traditional theories and contemporary ideas, in a continuous effort to give a better response to the
needs of society today. The Faculty pays special attention and importance to interdisciplinarity and
interconnecting of the different departments.

Faculty of Philosophy
University of Belgrade, Faculty of Philosophy prides itself with the tradition of scientific research in the field of society, culture, and education since 1838. UBFZF will be responsible for the WP3 development of qualitative participatory research methods, and significantly contribute to WP5 qualitative data analysis, WP1 review of pedagogical theories explaining learning across urban scales and WP6 transformation of research output into policy informing document and events. The Institute for Pedagogy and Andragogy at UBFZF will bring to the project exceptionally wide expertise on research for improvement of the quality of education (formal, informal and non-formal). The Institute has carried out 8 projects financed through MPNTR and partnered in 19 with MPNTR, UNICEF, Open Fund Society, Roma Education Fund, ESRALE, Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Affairs, Faculty of Political Sciences, Institute of Psychology, many of whom informed educational policies.

Faculty of Applied Arts
University of Arts in Belgrade, Faculty of Applied Arts has been an academic nucleus of artistic and scientific life in the region since 1938. UABFAA scientific research activities present a multidisciplinary fusion between artistic, theoretical, and scientific research. UABFFA`s Scientific and artistic outputs (269 articles, 29 monographs, 8 catalogues, 14 technical/concept designs, and 13 elaborate studies) bare evidence that they can knowledgeably translate research finding into spatial forms, and critically reflect on them with users in WP8. UABFFA is internationally awarded for their products, education and scientific outreach activities: participatory activities and intergenerational learning workshops with local communities, project studies for third parties, companies and public administration (Integral Innovation Workshop 2015, Danubius Academic Consortium 2015, SmartART). As a member in international networks (European League of Institutes of the Arts, Agence universitaire de la Francophonie, UniAdrion and Inter-University Centre Dubrovnik) UABFFA will skillfully lead WP6-dissemination and promote RELATE findings.

Faculty of Civil Engineering
The Faculty of Civil Engineering at the University of Belgrade is the oldest and the most considerable institution for higher education and scientific research in the field of civil engineering and geodesy in Serbia. As an educational institution, it deals with teaching future generations of civil engineers and geodesy engineers. As a scientific institution, it deals with theoretical, experimental, publishing and organizational activities. The Faculty has 8 laboratories, its own publishing and is the organizer of numerous international scientific conferences. Employees at the Faculty of Civil Engineering conduct and participate in 43 international and 35 national projects. The Faculty also has a fertile cooperation with industry and business, through expert, consulting, design and other professional activities.
The Faculty belongs to the group of Technical and Technological Sciences, and to subgroup: Civil engineering and urbanism. Hence, within its activities, the Faculty deals with a wide range of topics that are intertwined with the fields of architecture and urbanism. The construction, design and planning of urban space are among the most important tasks of the professions associated in this subgroup.
